In diesem Film zeigen wir verschiedene Generationen von Ukrainern, welche schwere Zeiten überlebt und für die Unabhängigkeit unseres Landes gekämpft haben.
“Lange Zeit konnten wir uns nicht entscheiden, welcher der ukrainischen Filme unsere Situation am besten beschreiben würde. Wir wählten einen anderen Weg und drehten unseren eigenen Film: Er handelt von ukrainischen Geflüchteten, die gezwungen sind, ihre Städte und Familien zu verlassen. Wir sind wirklich glücklich, dass ‚Kino Asyl‘ uns diese Möglichkeit gibt.” (Nastya, Veronika)
“Hi, my name is Veronika Havrykova and I´m from Ukraine. I left my country because the war started and now I am living in Munich. I am studying theatre and stage director, but a year ago I understood that my dream was making films. I take part in ‘Kino Asyl’ because I want the audience to see the world through my eyes, and when they leave the hall, they will remember this for a long time.” (Veronika)
“Hello everyone! My name is Nastya, I am 22 years old and I am from Ukraine. All my life I adored traveling and getting to know the cultures of different countries. Now, because of the war, I had to leave my country. I am glad to be part of the ‘Kino Asyl’ team, glad to find new friends from different countries and grateful for the opportunity to represent my country. Knowledge of the countries of the world is the treasure and food of human minds.” (Nastya)
